The drinks are great but the best thing is when this guy named Rich does Trivia on Wednesday's. It is super fun and the pub is packed. You have to call ahead and reserve a spot. Very English Pub vibe. Awesome beers and great fish and chips!

Recently visited the mayflower over the weekend, Poko, Ashley and Cameron all greeted me with warmth and compassion as soon as i entered the bar and reached the bar top. I immediately sat down and they asked what i wanted as a beverage. I responded and received it in no time. The overall atmosphere and aura of the place was above any other I've been too. 5/5 stars. Service was on point as well as efficiency.
Ok... went in for lunch, thinking that a nice plate of fish and chips would hit the spot. Uh, yeah it did. Two HUGE pieces of battered cod on a generous pile of fries, next to a green salad was more than enough to satisfy. The cod had a good batter on it, not too thick, so there was plenty of cod in there. The fries were nicely seasoned, and the salad was a nice light accompaniment, better than the coleslaw a lot of places serve. Unfortunately I was here for lunch while working, so did not get to sample the beers, but they look to have all of the appropriate selections for a good pub.
First thing first, drinks are delicious and moderately priced. Priscilla and the rest of the staff are great! She walked us through the menu as this was our first visit, gave some great recommendations. The pub inside is nice, clean, cozy, and inviting. The Irish beef, Guinness, vegetable stew was amazing and the sausage rolls were great too. We will definitely be back soon to try the other menu items but the stew was so good we couldn't stop eating it. This will be a place we come back to and tell friends to try.

Solid food, atmosphere, and kind service. They have events and music sometimes too. No complaints and I'll definitely be back.
I just adore this bar. The atmosphere is home away from home, and the staff are fantastic (and they tend to stick around which tells you something.) I love a people's bar, but I especially come when I want comfort food. It's so much better than the same trendy food you can get anywhere. I especially love their fries; the baked beans; the sausage rolls; and the beef stew. I haven't tried the pot pie yet but I've heard it's fantastic. Finally, the owner Tony is a real gem. He's just a great guy. If you see him, say hi and you'll love the place even more. :)
